Talking to Hue cuisine, most people always think of the fussy way of the processing and the diversity in presentation. In Hue city, there are hundreds of dishes, temporarily divided into three categories: rustic, vegetarian and “Royal” cuisine. Tourists often enjoy Hue cuisine in the elegant restaurants, with fussy processed dishes, and they don’t have opportunity to enjoy the Hue rustic food (Hue street food) which is close to local people.
On the other hand, street food is not fussy, only made from simple ingredients but still very interesting and brings characteristic flavors of Hue which is bold and spicy. The reason why the Hue food is spicier than the Northern food and saltier than the Southern food is an interesting story that we will tell you when we meet together.
Our tour program mainly focus on the street food, with the aim not only to introduce to you a new look on Hue cuisine, but also to help you to understand the culture of Hue city, the daily life of Hue people.
